Design

Often asked to characterize my ‘Style’! Left to my own preference, it would be a clear modernist geometry with a strong emphasis on spatial organization, the significance and play of natural light, the importance of attention to detail and a commitment to well established relationships between natural and constructed environments.

But there is a huge difference between Style and Philosophy! My ‘Design Philosophy’ is simply that of understanding the vision of any client and interpreting and giving it life in constructed form. Be that for Life, Work or Play.

Consulting & Owners Rep

The Owner/Architect/Contractor relationship should always be one of mutual benefit. Regrettably, it too often becomes one fraught with disputes and conflicting interests. There are many excellent and honest contractors and they have always had much work from my firm. The opposite is true for just as many. And there are the many in between where all parties to an agreement benefit from impartial mediation and administration.

Site & Landscape Design

With extensive experience in Site, Landscape and Garden architecture, planning, design and installation, many of our projects have included these services and often times we’ve been retained for these ‘stand alone’ services without having a part in a related architectural project.
